Role Definition

The PHP Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic web applications using PHP and related technologies. This role includes coding, debugging, and collaborating with front-end and back-end teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.

Responsibility Deliverable

Key Responsibility:

Design, develop, and maintain server-side web applications using PHPIntegrate front-end elements with server-side logic.

Optimize applications for speed and scalability.

Maintain and troubleshoot legacy PHP code and upgrade as needed.

Work closely with designers, front-end developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices.

Develop and manage APIs and third-party integrations.

Ensure application security, data protection, and GDPR compliance.

Key Deliverables:

Functional, bug-free, and tested web applications.

API documentation and clean, maintainable code.

Weekly progress and status reports.

Proper version-controlled code using Git or similar tools.

Task & Activities

Write clean, secure, and scalable PHP code.

Build RESTful APIs and ensure smooth integration with front-end frameworks.

Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.

Use modern development tools such as Composer, PHPUnit, and frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter.

Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development teams.

Implement security and data protection features.

Maintain detailed documentation for all code and development processes.

Skills

Strong proficiency in PHP (Core PHP and PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).

Good understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery).

Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.

Knowledge of REST APIs, Web Services, and third-party integrations.

Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles.

Working knowledge of Unix/Linux-based systems and command-line tools.

Note

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in PHP development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
