As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications using modern PHP frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, architects, and QA engineers to deliver efficient, secure, and maintainable backend solutions. This role demands deep technical expertise in Laravel (latest versions), sound understanding of MVC architecture, and proficiency in database design and API integrations. The ideal candidate is a seasoned backend professional with a passion for performance optimization, clean coding practices, and continuous learning in modern PHP technologies.


Responsibilities
You will be working as a Senior PHP Developer, collaborating closely with project teams to build scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs. You would be required to participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.


Your key Responsibilities will include:


Developing, testing, and maintaining dynamic web applications using PHP and modern frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or CakePHP. Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing components with server-side logic. Designing and implementing modular, reusable, and secure backend components. Writing clean, optimized, and well-documented code adhering to coding best practices. Working with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and ensuring data integrity. Integrating third-party APIs, RESTful services, and external systems. Debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving performance or deployment issues. Conducting code reviews and contributing to architectural decisions for scalable backend systems. Implementing authentication, authorization, and data protection strategies. Staying updated with the latest advancements in PHP frameworks, libraries, and web development tools. Required Skills

Primary Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in Core PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. Expert-level proficiency in Laravel Framework (latest versions). In-depth understanding of MVC architecture and Service Container concepts. Proficient with Eloquent ORM, Query Builder, and Database Migrations. Experience working with Blade templating engine and Laravel Mix/Vite. Expertise in developing and integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services. Familiarity with Laravel Queues, Events, Jobs, Scheduler, Notifications, and Mailing systems. Experience with Authentication & Authorization mechanisms (Laravel Breeze, Passport, Sanctum). Proficiency in Form Requests, Validation, and Middleware. Strong understanding of database design, indexing, and query optimization (MySQL/PostgreSQL). Basic understanding of Docker environments and web servers (Apache/Nginx).

Secondary Technical Skills

Exposure to JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular. Experience with version control systems like Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket. Familiarity with DevOps tools - Docker, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience configuring and optimizing web servers (Apache, Nginx). Knowledge of GraphQL APIs and API lifecycle management. Understanding of cloud platforms - AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure (EC2, S3, etc.). Strong grasp of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS. Implementation of security best practices (OWASP standards, CSRF/XSS prevention, input validation). Experience with testing frameworks like PHPUnit, Postman, or automated test setups. * Exposure to CMS platforms - WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
