Job description

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable web applications using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize application performance and ensure smooth functionality.
• Ensure data security and implement effective data storage solutions.
• Integrate third-party APIs and web services to enhance application features.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to code quality improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated with the latest PHP and web development trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful web applications.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with popular PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symphony, or CodeIgniter.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., jQuery).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred (but not required) Skills:

• Experience with e-commerce platforms and payment gateway integration.
• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud services.
• Familiarity with CMS systems such as WordPress or Drupal.
• Understanding of web security best practices.
