Jewellery Photographer cum Videographer - Job Roles & Responsibilities1. Photography Responsibilities

Shoot high-quality images of jewellery products (rings, necklaces, earrings, bangles, etc.). Ensure accurate representation of gemstones, metals, textures, and craftsmanship. Work with macro lenses, lightboxes, and product photography setups. Capture creative lifestyle shots for campaigns, banners, and social media. Edit and retouch images to highlight clarity, shine, colour, and details. Maintain consistency in image style, lighting, and branding across all products.

2. Videography Responsibilities

Shoot product videos showcasing 360 views, sparkle, craftsmanship, and wearability. Create short videos/Reels for social media, ads, and promotional content. Plan, script, and execute concept-based jewellery videos. Set up lighting, turntables, and stabilization equipment. Edit videos with transitions, color correction, music, and branding.

3. Pre-Production Duties

Coordinate with creative teams, stylists, and marketing teams. Prepare mood boards, shot lists, and references. Select props, backgrounds, and model setups (if required). Ensure jewellery is polished, clean, and shoot-ready.

4. Post-Production Duties

Retouching images (dust removal, color correction, stone enhancement, shine optimization). Video editing using software like Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve. Delivering final outputs in required formats for website, e-commerce, print, and social media. Maintaining file organization and backups.

5. Equipment Handling

Manage cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, backdrops, turntables, stabilizers. Ensure equipment is cleaned, calibrated, and in working condition. Recommend new equipment or upgrades.

6. Creative & Branding Responsibilities

Maintain brand aesthetic across photos and videos. Suggest new creative ideas for campaigns and product launches. Stay updated on jewellery photography trends and visual merchandising.

7. Other Responsibilities

Work closely with design and marketing teams to meet deadlines. Handle multiple products/projects at the same time. Ensure quality control and consistency.
