The primary responsibility of a general photographer is to capture high-quality images using a camera and other photographic equipment. They should have a good understanding of composition, lighting, and technical aspects of photography to create visually appealing photographs. Photographer may work with a wide range of subjects, including people, landscapes, products, events, architecture, food, and more. They should be able to adapt their shooting style and techniques to suit the subject and achieve the desired outcome. Photographer should be knowledgeable about different camera types, lenses, lighting equipment, and other accessories. They are responsible for selecting the appropriate gear for each shoot and ensuring it is well-maintained and functioning properly. Prior to a shoot, general photographers may need to prepare by scouting locations, understanding the requirements, and planning the logistics of the shoot. They may also need to organize props, set up lighting, and coordinate to achieve the desired results. After capturing images, general photographers typically engage in post-processing activities. Must know editing software such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom to enhance colors, adjust exposure, crop images, remove blemishes, and achieve the desired look and feel.
