Phonics Teaching Assistant (Part-Time)

3:30 PM - 7:00 PM (Weekdays)

About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and patient Phonics Teaching Assistant to support our weekday phonics classes. The ideal candidate loves working with young children, has good communication skills, and enjoys creating a fun and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist the lead teacher in conducting phonics sessions for early learners. Support children in letter sounds, blending, reading, and writing activities. Guide children individually or in small groups to reinforce learning. Ensure a safe, positive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere. Communicate effectively with the lead teacher about each child's progress.
Requirements:

Passion for teaching and working with young children. Good command of spoken and written English. Basic understanding of phonics. Punctual, reliable, and cheerful attitude. Prior experience in a preschool or phonics program is an added advantage.
