Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled

Phonics Teacher

to deliver engaging, systematic phonics instruction to young learners. The ideal candidate will help students develop strong foundational reading, spelling, and pronunciation skills using age-appropriate, multisensory teaching strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver structured phonics lessons aligned with the curriculum Teach letter-sound relationships, blending, segmenting, and decoding skills Use interactive methods such as songs, stories, games, and visual aids Assess students' reading progress and maintain individual learning records Provide targeted support to struggling readers Create a positive, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environment Communicate regularly with parents and school staff regarding student progress Participate in training, meetings, and curriculum development activities
Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (preferred) Certification or training in Phonics / Early Literacy (preferred) Experience teaching early years or primary students Strong understanding of synthetic phonics principles Excellent communication and classroom management skills Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children
Experience

Minimum 1+ years of experience teaching phonics or early reading skills Experience with early childhood learners (ages 3-7 preferred)
