Explain procedures to patients and help reduce anxiety
Follow strict hygiene, safety, and infection-control protocols
Handle, store, and transport blood samples properly
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Dispose of needles and biohazard waste safely
Report any adverse reactions during or after blood collection
