Job Description

SRM PRIME HOSPITAL

Key Responsibilities



Patient Interaction:

Greet patients, explain procedures, verify identity, and calm anxious individuals.

Blood Collection:

Perform venipuncture (drawing from veins) and capillary punctures (finger sticks) using appropriate techniques.

Sample Management:

Label specimens accurately, track collections, and prepare samples for transport to labs.

Safety & Hygiene:

Maintain sterile equipment, follow infection control protocols, and observe isolation procedures.

Data Entry:

Record patient information and test details in computer systems.

Equipment Maintenance:

Keep supplies stocked and sterilize tools.
