Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for drawing blood from patients for various medical tests, transfusions, donations, or research. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in venipuncture techniques, possess excellent communication skills, and exhibit a high level of professionalism and empathy when interacting with patients.

Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture on patients using appropriate techniques, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure. Verify patient identities and accurately label blood samples to prevent errors in processing. Follow established protocols and procedures for collecting, handling, and transporting specimens to the laboratory. Maintain cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with infection control standards. Educate patients about the phlebotomy process, including any necessary preparations or precautions. Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a courteous and respectful manner, providing clear explanations as needed.
