Job Description

1. Maintain clean work area in Sample collection room.

2. All sample collection materials must be checked and kept ready for use

3. Once patient arrives entries to be done in Prime & Insta and to be checked and compare with the Bill and Doctors prescription.

4. Accept the entry from Prime or Insta and generate accession number and barcode for the specimens.

5. Label the specimen collection tubes and containers with appropriate barcode.

6. Ensure that the patient is in a comfortable position and perform sample collection after confirming correct labeling of tubes.

7. Centrifuge sample & then dispatch sample to the laboratory ensuring proper transport conditions.

8. Home collection of sample to be done as per the client requirements.

9. To print the OPD reports and hand over to patient.

10. To perform Bleeding time and Clotting time OPD patients and make result entry of the same in report.

11. To perform and make result entry of Mantoux test.

12. Collect clinical history where relevant.

13. Phlebotomist on evening duty must check and update inventory for next day.

14. Consent form for some tests must be filled by client/patient i.e. Triple marker test, Double marker test, & HIV testing.

15. To maintain all records as per NABL requirement.

16. Observing laboratory safety precautions in handling clinical specimens.

17. Co-ordination with the depts. for solving OPD patient problems, report status etc.

Pay: ?13,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
