, your primary responsibility is to design, develop, and oversee for various projects in commercial & residential buildings and industries. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that designs meet project requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.
We are looking for candidates with the following:
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering or other relevant disciplines.
Experience:
Typically requires
3-5 years
of experience in
PHE design
or a related field.
Strong knowledge of
plumbing systems, water supply, drainage, rainwater harvesting, sewage treatment plants (STP), water treatment plants (WTP), and fire suppression systems
.
Experience with
MEP coordination, building codes, and plumbing regulations
is essential.
Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities:
Design Development:
Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for
water supply, sanitation, and drainage systems
in buildings.
Ensure designs comply with applicable
plumbing codes, standards, and regulations (NBC, IPC, UPC, IS codes, etc.)
.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to integrate PHE systems into the overall building design.
System Calculations and Analysis:
Perform
hydraulic calculations, water demand analysis, drainage flow calculations
, and pressure loss assessments.
Size and specify
pumps, pipes, valves, sanitary fixtures, and water storage tanks
based on project requirements.
Design
stormwater management and rainwater harvesting systems
to optimize water efficiency.
Drafting and Documentation:
Use
AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM tools
to create detailed
PHE system layouts, riser diagrams, and schematics
.
Prepare
technical specifications and BOQs
for PHE equipment and materials.
Review
shop drawings and contractor submittals
to ensure compliance with design intent.
Project Coordination:
Work closely with
project managers, site engineers, and contractors
throughout the project lifecycle.
Attend meetings with
clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities
to discuss design requirements and approvals.
Provide
technical support and guidance
during construction and installation phases.
