Qualification:

PhD in English (Mandatory)

Experience:

Relevant teaching/research experience as per UGC/University norms

Job Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in English Language, Literature, and related subjects Develop and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and academic content Guide and mentor students in academic and research activities Contribute to curriculum development, syllabus design, and academic planning Publish research papers in reputed journals and participate in conferences/seminars Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and university activities Perform administrative and academic duties assigned by the Department/University

Desired Skills & Competencies:

Strong command over English language and literature Excellent communication and presentation skills Research orientation with publications in indexed journals (preferred) Ability to use modern teaching tools and digital platforms Student-centric approach and academic integrity

Eligibility Criteria:

PhD in English from a recognized university (mandatory) NET/SLET qualification as per UGC norms (if applicable) Teaching experience in a university/college will be preferred
