Job Overview We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to manage various functions at Devaki Pharmacy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for billing, pharmacy purchase, and dispensing medications while explaining their usage to patients. The technician will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive proper care and medication instructions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Billing & Accounts

- Handle patient billing and manage pharmacy accounts.

- Ensure accuracy in billing for prescriptions, tracking all transactions, and maintaining up-to-date financial records.

- Coordinate with the hospital's accounting team to ensure timely invoicing and account reconciliation. - Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for pharmacy sales and purchases.

2. Pharmacy Purchase

- Manage procurement of medications and pharmacy supplies.

- Maintain inventory levels by regularly monitoring stock and placing orders to prevent shortages.

- Coordinate with suppliers and negotiate pricing and delivery timelines to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements regarding pharmaceutical Purchase.

3. Pharmacy Dispensing with Explanation to the Patient

- Accurately dispense prescribed medications to patients.

- Explain to patients how to take their medications, including dosage, timing, and potential side effects.

Qualifications

- Education: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or equivalent certification.

- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy or hospital setting.

- Skills: - Strong understanding of pharmaceutical operations, including inventory management and billing.

- Proficient in pharmacy management software and accounting systems.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain medication usage clearly to patients.

Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
