Job Summary
The Pharmacy Store Assistant is responsible for assisting in the efficient management of pharmacy inventory, ensuring proper storage, timely availability of medicines, and supporting smooth pharmacy operations while adhering to regulatory and hospital standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in receiving, verifying, and stocking medicines, consumables, and medical supplies.
Ensure accurate labeling, proper storage, and adherence to FEFO/ FIFO guidelines.
Maintain inventory records, stock registers, and support regular stock audits.
Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications as per prescription under supervision.
Check expiry dates regularly and segregate near-expiry or expired items.
Manage billing support, counter assistance, and respond to queries professionally.
Coordinate with suppliers for stock updates, purchase follow-ups, and returns.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy store.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and drug regulatory standards.
Support timely indent preparation and stock replenishment.
Skills & Qualifications
BSC / Diploma in Pharmacy
Basic knowledge of medicines, consumables, and pharmacy operations.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to maintain records and work accurately with attention to detail.
Basic computer knowledge (billing software, MS Office preferred).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
