Pharmacy Manager Responsibilities & Duties



Provide leadership, management, and direction to all pharmacy personnel, ensuring effective utilization of resources and continuous quality improvement. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards. Oversee the accurate and timely dispensing of medication, including verification of medication orders, dispensing medications, and maintaining medication inventory. Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare providers on safe and effective use of medications. Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes, and provide medication therapy management services. Manage the budget and financial performance of the pharmacy, including controlling inventory, monitoring expenses, and maximizing profitability. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including patients, healthcare providers, regulatory agencies, and vendors.

Pharmacy Manager Qualifications & Skills



Advanced degree in Pharmacy or related field Previous experience in a management or supervisory role Certificates in pharmacy management or healthcare administration Proficiency with pharmacy management software and systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Experience in quality assurance and regulatory compliance Skills in budget management and financial planning Continuous education and professional development in pharmacy practice Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or a related field. Current licensure as a Pharmacist in good standing with the state board of pharmacy. 5+ years of experience in a pharmacy management role, with a proven track record of success. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and patient care.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹800,000.00 per year
