Job Description
:
Medications are stored as per manufacturer requirements (In the absence of
manufacturer's instructions, the organization has developed and implemented
storage requirements
? Storage areas are safe and secured ( limit access to medication storage areas to
authorised team members, locking medication carts and never leaving them
unattended, or storing medications in an area that is continuously staffed
? Cleanliness maintained
? Storage requirements is being met in all areas where medications are stored,
including wards
? Vaccines is preferably kept in vaccine refrigerators (Ice Lined Refrigerator)
? Temperature monitoring to be carried of the refrigerators (at least once a day)
? Audits to be carried out periodically to verify the stock
