Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Laboratory Management

Prepare laboratories for practical classes: setup equipment, reagents, instruments, and materials. Assist faculty during practical sessions and demonstrations. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning of all labs.

2. Equipment & Inventory Handling

Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments (HPLC, UV-Vis, dissolution apparatus, friability tester, etc.). Maintain inventory of chemicals, glassware, and consumables. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and disposal of chemicals as per safety norms.

3. Safety & Compliance

Implement and monitor lab safety protocols as per PCI and internal university guidelines. Conduct regular checks of fire safety, fume hoods, chemical storage, and first-aid equipment. Maintain MSDS records and hazardous waste disposal logs.

4. Documentation & Support

Maintain practical records, logbooks, calibration reports, and equipment maintenance files. Assist faculty in preparing practical manuals, SOPs, and lab documentation. Support research students (M.Pharm/PhD) with lab setup and instrumentation.

Qualifications & SkillsEducation

Diploma / Bachelors in Pharmaceutical Sciences only. Preference to candidates with experience in Pharmacy college/university labs.

Freshers can also be considered.

Pay: ?14,000.00 - ?16,000.00 per month
