Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

Oversee daily workflow, dispensing, workflow efficiency, and resolve operational issues.

Staff Leadership:

Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor pharmacists and technicians, ensuring high performance and adherence to protocols.

Medication Management:

Ensure accurate prescription fulfillment, proper drug storage, and maintain controlled substance logs.

Regulatory Compliance:

Enforce all pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards (local, state, federal).

Inventory Control:

Manage purchasing, stocking, and control of drug inventory to prevent shortages and control costs.

Patient Care:

Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, and side effects; handle complaints; and collaborate with doctors.

Quality Assurance:

Implement protocols to minimize errors and enhance patient safety, conducting audits as needed.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy & valid Pharmacist License. Experience in hospital or retail pharmacy settings. Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
