Job Description

Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing, inventory, and controlled substances. Prepare for and participate in audits by regulatory agencies.The Pharmacy In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the pharmacy operations within a hospital setting. Daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the efficient dispensing of medications. Monitor inventory levels, manage drug procurement, and ensure the availability of essential medications. Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards. Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support personnel. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations for pharmacy staff. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes professional development. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management. Review medication orders for appropriateness, dosages, and potential interactions.
