: PharmacistPosition Summary

A Pharmacist is a licensed healthcare professional responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring safe and effective drug use, and providing clinical advice to patients and healthcare providers. Pharmacists promote the rational use of medicines, monitor patient therapy, and help improve overall health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities1. Dispensing & Medication Management

Accurately dispense prescription medications according to legal and professional standards. Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions. Counsel patients on the correct use, dosage, and side effects of medications. Maintain accurate patient medication profiles.

2. Patient Counseling & Education

Educate patients on medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and disease management. Provide guidance on over-the-counter (OTC) medications and self-care therapies. Address patient concerns and answer medication-related questions.

3. Clinical & Therapeutic Support

Monitor patient outcomes and adjust therapy recommendations when necessary. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize treatment plans. Participate in medication therapy management (MTM) and clinical programs (e.g., immunizations, chronic disease management).

4. Regulatory Compliance

Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards. Maintain proper documentation for controlled substances and prescription records. Follow quality assurance and safety protocols, including error prevention systems.

5. Inventory & Operational Management

Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing medications. Ensure proper storage conditions, handling, and disposal of pharmaceuticals. Use pharmacy management software to process prescriptions and maintain records.

6. Professional Development

Stay updated with advancements in pharmacology, therapeutics, and healthcare regulations. Participate in continuing education and professional training.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
