Assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescribed fertility and IVF-related medications.
Prepare and label medications accurately under pharmacist supervision.
Handle and store temperature-sensitive drugs (e.g., hormones, injectables) as per guidelines.
Maintain inventory of IVF medications, injections, and consumables.
Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and batch numbers; report shortages or near-expiry items.
Ensure cold-chain management for refrigerated medications.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and embryology staff regarding medication requirements.
Educate patients on basic medication handling and storage (as directed by pharmacist).
Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality protocols.
Education
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Pharmacy or Certified Pharmacy Assistant course.
Experience
1-3 years of experience in a hospital or IVF pharmacy preferred.
Experience handling injectables and hormone medications is an advantage.
Skills
Knowledge of fertility drugs and hormonal therapies (preferred).
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic computer and billing software knowledge.
Good communication and patient-handling skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
