We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Aide to support our pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in LTC pharmacy, hospital settings, or critical care, along with a strong understanding of medical terminology and aseptic techniques. The Pharmacy Aide plays a vital role in ensuring accurate medication dispensing and maintaining compliance with safety standards.
Duties
Assist licensed pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with medication preparation and distribution
Manage medication inventory, including stocking, labeling, and organizing supplies
Support patient intake processes by verifying prescriptions and updating records
Ensure proper documentation of medication administration and patient interactions
Maintain a clean and sterile work environment following infection control protocols
Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and assisting with medication-related inquiries
