- Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate pharmacist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing quality patient care by accurately dispensing medications, offering expert drug information, and promoting patient health and wellness. This position requires a strong commitment to patient safety, adherence to professional standards, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities



Dispensing & Patient Care:

Accurately and safely dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications. Review and verify physician orders for accuracy, completeness, and potential drug interactions or contraindications. Provide clear and concise counseling to patients on the proper use of their medications, potential side effects, and storage instructions. Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) reviews to optimize treatment outcomes.

Operational Management:

Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and controlling outdated medications. Maintain detailed and confidential patient records in compliance with all regulations. Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and other support staff. Ensure the pharmacy operates in full compliance with state and federal laws and professional ethics.

Collaboration & Communication:

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care. Answer patient and healthcare provider questions regarding medication dosages, interactions, and general health concerns. Address and resolve any medication-related issues or patient concerns promptly and professionally.

Key Requirements



Education:

A valid degree in Pharmacy (e.g., Bachelor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy) from an accredited institution.

Licensure:

Current and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of practice.

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.

Skills:

Exceptional knowledge of pharmaceuticals, pharmacology, and pharmacy laws. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in pharmacy management software. A compassionate and customer-service-oriented approach.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
