Core Responsibilities

Medication Dispensing:

Review and interpret prescriptions; compound, package, and label medicines accurately.

Inventory Management:

Maintain stock records, monitor inventory levels, and remove expired or damaged products.

Regulatory Compliance:

Follow all pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards set by the State Pharmacy Council.

Prescription Verification:

Check prescriptions for accuracy and identify therapeutic incompatibilities.

Operational Support:

Oversee technicians and ensure smooth daily pharmacy operations.

Key Skills

Strong attention to detail & organizational ability Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team Customer-oriented approach Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences and dosages

Qualifications

D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution Valid

State Pharmacy Registration License

(mandatory, including for freshers) Region-specific license (e.g., Delhi-registered) may be required for certain roles Familiarity with

pharmacy information systems
