The responsibilities of the Pharmacist include the following:
Dispense drugs as per the indents received from various wards in the hospital
Takes care of the stock in the respective area like maintenance of the inventory, movement of short expiry drugs, intimate to the Head of stores.
To maintain the statutory register for narcotic drugs/Schedule X drugs
Checking the material received from pharmacy main stores
Physical verification of stocks has to be conducted periodically.
To maintain Non moving stock report
Any other work assigned by the Management from time to time.
