Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Coimbatore for a Pharmacist. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescribed medications accurately, offering advice on medication usage, and addressing patient concerns. Daily tasks include maintaining inventory, verifying prescriptions, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and hospital policies. The role emphasizes attention to detail, patient care, and organizational skills to uphold the quality standards of Karunya Hospitals.

Knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, drug interactions, and medication dispensing processes Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide patient counseling and support Experience with inventory management and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards Attention to detail and accuracy in verifying prescriptions Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals in a clinical setting Pharmacist license or certification as required by local regulations Proficiency in using pharmacy management software is a plus Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field is required; advanced qualifications are an advantage
