Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist to dispense medications accurately, counsel patients on proper usage, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting patient safety, supporting physicians, and maintaining high standards of pharmaceutical care.

Key Responsibilities

Dispense prescription medications accurately as per doctor's orders Review prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, and allergies Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage Maintain patient medication records and confidentiality Monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and prevent expiries Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, safety standards, and ethics Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff for optimal patient care Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff Handle insurance claims and billing where applicable Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm / D.Pharm / Pharm.D) Valid Pharmacist Registration with State Pharmacy Council Proven experience in hospital, clinic, or retail pharmacy (preferred) Strong knowledge of medications, dosages, and drug interactions Excellent communication and patient counseling skills Attention to detail and high ethical standards Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required

Work Environment

Hospital / Clinic / Retail Pharmacy Standing for long periods may be required Fast-paced healthcare environment
