Pharmacists play a crucial role in healthcare, bridging the gap between medicine and patient care. Below are some of the key roles and responsibilities of a pharmacist:

Prepare and dispense prescription medications, ensuring accuracy and correct dosage. Check for drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications. Label medications with clear instructions for use.

Patient Counseling:

Advise patients on the proper use of prescription and over-the-counter medications. Explain side effects, precautions, and potential interactions of medications. Provide guidance on lifestyle changes or non-prescription health products.

Medication Therapy Management (MTM):

Review patients' medication regimens to optimize therapeutic outcomes. Monitor for adverse reactions or inefficacies. Work with other healthcare providers to adjust medications when necessary.

Medication Safety:

Ensure safe storage and handling of medications, including controlled substances. Monitor medication recalls and manage any related concerns. Educate patients about medication adherence to prevent misuse.

Clinical Involvement:

Work with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create and monitor treatment plans. Provide recommendations for alternative medications or dosages based on a patient's health status. Participate in clinical rounds in hospitals or healthcare settings, offering advice on drug therapy.

Immunizations and Preventative Care:
