Review and verify physician medication orders for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness.
Dispense medications in compliance with hospital policies and national regulations.
Participate in clinical rounds with the healthcare team.
Review patient charts to evaluate drug therapy effectiveness and safety.
Counsel patients on correct use of medications, potential side effects, and storage.
Provide discharge medication counseling.
