Job Description

Review and interpret physician prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy Prepare, compound, and dispense prescribed medications according to hospital policies and legal requirements Provide clinical advice to physicians, nurses, and patients regarding proper drug usage, dosage, and possible side effects Monitor patients for therapeutic response, potential drug interactions, and adverse reactions Maintain and manage the hospital's drug inventory, ensuring proper storage and stock control Participate in ward rounds and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient treatment plans Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., NABH, Drug & Cosmetics Act) Educate patients and staff on safe medication practices and new drug therapies Maintain accurate records of controlled substances and other medications as per legal requirements Stay updated with new drugs, clinical trials, and best pharmacy practices

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm /Pharm.D) from an accredited institution Valid Pharmacist License/Registration under Punjab Pharmacy Council. Fresher Preferred Excellent communication and teamwork skills
