Dispense prescribed medications accurately and in a timely manner.
Review prescriptions for accuracy, legality, and potential drug interactions.
Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.
Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring proper storage of drugs.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, purchases, and controlled substances.
Ensure compliance with all pharmaceutical laws and hospital/clinic policies.
Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Participate in quality assurance, audits, and continuing education programs.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's or Diploma in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / D.Pharm).
Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council.
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and drug regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing.
Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
