Job Summary
The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring accurate and safe pharmaceutical care, counseling patients, and collaborating with healthcare providers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of practice.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with federal and state regulations
Verify prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and clinical appropriateness
Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and wellness
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new medications, therapies, and pharmaceutical guidelines
Communicate with physicians and healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions or discuss therapy recommendations
Ensure proper storage, security, and handling of medications
Review and manage patient medication profiles
Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff as needed
Perform immunizations (if certified/required)
Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stock maintenance
Maintain accurate and compliant records, logs, and documentation
Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
Bachelor of Pharmacy OR Diploma in pharmacy
Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Kerala
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, drug interactions, and pharmacy law
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous retail or clinical pharmacy experience preferred
Immunization certification (preferred or required depending on state)
Schedule
Weekend or evening shifts may be required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 30 per week
