Advise on potential side effects, interactions, and storage of drugs.
Inventory & Stock Management
Maintain and monitor stock levels of medicines.
Place orders and coordinate with suppliers/vendors.
Ensure proper storage conditions and check expiry dates regularly.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure pharmacy operations comply with legal and medical regulations.
Maintain proper records of drug dispensation, narcotics, and controlled substances.
Support audits and inspections when required.
Quality & Safety
Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
Report any adverse drug reactions or discrepancies.
Implement and follow SOPs for safe pharmacy practices.
Coordination & Reporting
Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
Generate pharmacy reports (stock, usage, wastage).
Escalate critical shortages or irregularities to management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / M.Pharm).
Valid registration with State Pharmacy Council.
1-3 years of relevant experience (hospital/retail pharmacy preferred).
Strong knowledge of drug regulations and pharmacy laws.
Good communication and counseling skills.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain records accurately.
