Job Description

Pharmacist for Qatar

Dispensing & Patient Care:

Dispense prescribed medications accurately and ensure proper documentation.*
Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.*
Verify prescriptions for accuracy, legality, and potential drug interactions.*
Ensure compliance with MOPH regulations and ethical pharmaceutical practices.*

Regulatory & Compliance:

Maintain accurate records of all pharmaceutical transactions.*
Ensure all medications are stored and dispensed following safety guidelines.*
Adhere to local laws governing the sale and distribution of controlled substances.*

Inventory & Stock Management:

Monitor stock levels and manage inventory to prevent shortages.*
Conduct regular audits to identify expired or near-expiry medications.*
Coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment.*

Collaboration & Continuous Learning:

Work closely with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.*
Stay updated with new drugs, treatment protocols, and regulatory changes.*
Train and supervise pharmacy assistants and junior staff as required.*

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy.*
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a pharmacy (retail or hospital setting).*
