Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Pharmacist to manage medication dispensing, ensure safe and effective use of medicines, and provide accurate drug-related information to patients and healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, patient-focused, and capable of working efficiently in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense prescribed medications accurately and in compliance with regulations Review prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage, and possible interactions Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage Maintain proper records of drugs, prescriptions, and inventory Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, hospital policies, and safety standards Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff Monitor stock levels and manage expiry dates

Eligibility Criteria:

Bachelor's or Diploma in Pharmacy Registered with the State Pharmacy Council

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience preferred

Skills Required:

Good knowledge of medicines and pharmacy practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and ethical practice Ability to work independently and as part of a team
