Clarify any ambiguities with the prescribing doctor if necessary.
Patient Counseling
Provide clear instructions on dosage, usage, side effects, and storage of medications.
Educate patients on the importance of medication adherence.
Inventory & Storage Management
Maintain optimum stock levels and check expiry dates regularly.
Ensure safe and proper storage of medicines as per norms.
Maintain records of inward and outward medicine movement.
Regulatory Compliance
Adhere to hospital protocols and statutory pharmacy regulations.
Maintain necessary documentation as required by the Drug Control Authority.
Ensure proper billing and record-keeping.
Quality Assurance
Participate in internal audits and quality improvement programs.
Ensure that high standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained in the pharmacy.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff.
Provide drug information support to healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
Educational Qualification:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm / B.Pharm)
Licensure:
Valid Kerala State Pharmacy Council Registration
Experience:
Minimum 1.5 - 2 years
