1. Role Summary

2. Key Responsibilities



A. Prescription Management & Safe Dispensing (CureO-Enabled)

Review and dispense CureO-generated e-prescriptions accurately Manage repeat and chronic prescriptions linked to Care Plans Identify drug interactions, duplications, or safety concerns Escalate issues when required Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and quality standards
B. Patient Counselling & Care Plan Support

Provide counselling on: Dosage and administration Medication adherence Side effects Long-term medication use for chronic conditions Educate patients on CureO Care Plans, including: Diabetes Hypertension Thyroid disorders Respiratory conditions Other chronic programs Reinforce doctor-led care plans and follow-up schedules
C. Care Plan Enrolment, Engagement & Follow-ups

Identify eligible patients during dispensing and counselling Explain Care Plan benefits such as: Improved outcomes Cost savings Continuity of care Support: Enrolments Renewals Adherence tracking Patient engagement using CureO systems
D. Integrated Care with Clinics & Teleconsultations

Coordinate closely with: Clinic doctors Teleconsultation teams Support: Care Plan-linked diagnostics Lab packages Medication continuity Act as a bridge between: Doctor recommendations Patient execution
E. Sales, Growth & Patient Engagement Initiatives

Contribute to store-level growth through: Care Plan enrolments Wellness and preventive programs Ethical OTC recommendations Build long-term patient relationships Maintain patient-first ethics at all times
F. Medical Camps & Community Health Programs

Participate in medical camps and outreach programs Support: Health screening Medicine dispensing Patient counselling Care Plan education Ensure follow-up care and onboarding for eligible patients
G. Participation in Research & Evidence Generation (Preferred)

Pharmacists may participate in:

Observational studies, audits, and registries Outcomes tracking enabled by CureO Structured data capture using EMR and pharmacy systems Patient education and consent workflows (as applicable) High-quality documentation to ensure research accuracy and compliance Training related to: Research processes Data quality standards
Note: Research participation is preferred but not mandatory and provides strong learning and career-building exposure.

H. Technology & Digital Pharmacy Operations

Use CureO and Pharma4U platforms for: Prescription processing Care Plan management Patient tracking Sales and performance reporting Adapt to new digital tools and workflows Provide feedback for continuous process improvement

3. Qualifications & Eligibility



Essential



D.Pharm / B.Pharm Valid State Pharmacy Council registration Strong communication and counselling skills Willingness to work with digital systems and structured workflows

Desirable



Experience in chronic care or Care Plans Exposure to research, audits, or documentation-driven work Interest in technology-enabled healthcare delivery
