The Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of both the physical pharmacy store and the online pharmacy services at the healthcare centre. This role includes dispensing medications, providing consultation to patients, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, managing stock, and offering timely, accurate services to both in-person and online customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispensing Medications:
Accurately dispense prescriptions for both walk-in and online customers.
Verify prescription information and ensure proper drug utilization.
Provide advice on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions to patients.
Patient Consultation & Customer Service:
Offer expert advice on over-the-counter medications, health supplements, and wellness products.
Provide health consultations via phone, email, or chat for online customers.
Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Online Pharmacy Management:
Process, verify, and fulfill online orders.
Ensure that online orders are accurately packed and shipped within the required time frame.
Coordinate with logistics teams to manage delivery of medications for online customers.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage the inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products for both in-store and online orders.
Track stock levels, reorder medications as necessary, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
Conduct regular stock audits and manage expired or damaged goods according to regulations.
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure the pharmacy complies with national, state, and local healthcare regulations.
Maintain up-to-date records for prescription and over-the-counter medications.
Implement and enforce pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure safety and legal compliance.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
Work closely with healthcare providers, including doctors and nurses, to ensure appropriate patient care and medication management.
Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve any patient or order-related issues.
Technology & System Management:
Use pharmacy management software to track prescriptions, stock levels, and customer orders.
Stay updated on the latest technologies to enhance online pharmacy operations, such as automated dispensing systems and telehealth services.
Promotions and Marketing Support:
Assist with online pharmacy promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
Provide product recommendations based on patient needs and health trends.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
Active licensure as a Pharmacist
Experience:
Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Pharmacist.
Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and online dispensing platforms.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, and healthcare regulations.
Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and online pharmacy tools.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
