Key Responsibilities

Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately. Verify prescriptions and check for drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications. Counsel patients on proper medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage. Maintain and update patient medication records. Assist in inventory management, including ordering and storing medicines. Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and standard operating procedures. Support the preparation and labeling of medications. Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on patient care. Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure accuracy in compounding and dispensing.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)

from a recognized institution. Valid pharmacist license/registration as per state or national pharmacy council. Strong understanding of pharmacology, pharmaceutics, and drug regulations.
