Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

Dispensing & Accuracy:

Filling and labeling prescriptions accurately, verifying dosages and legality, and ensuring correct medication for patients.

Patient Counseling:

Advising patients on how to take medications, potential side effects, interactions, and proper storage.

Collaboration:

Working with doctors and healthcare teams to review prescriptions, monitor therapies, and optimize treatment plans.

Inventory & Records:

Managing drug stock, maintaining controlled substance records, and adhering to legal/regulatory guidelines (HIPAA, DEA).

Health Services:

Administering immunizations and providing health screenings as permitted.
Key Duties:

Reviewing physician orders for therapeutic appropriateness and potential conflicts. Compounding and preparing medications. Monitoring patient drug therapies for safety and effectiveness. Providing expert advice on medication selection, dosage, and interactions. Maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. Educating patients and other healthcare professionals.
Work Settings:

Community pharmacies (drug stores, grocery stores). Hospitals and healthcare facilities. Mail-order pharmacies.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹24,887.39 per month
