Sales Lead
1. Delegate Acquisition & Sales Strategy
a. Build and maintain an extensive database of potential clients while analyzing existing data for insights.
b. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and audience targets.
c. Personalize communication for high-profile attendees and key stakeholders to drive engagement.
d. Create and execute targeted strategies to increase high-quality delegate attendance.
e. Identify and convert prospects through a multi-channel approach (calls, emails, social media, WhatsApp, LinkedIn).
f. Establish and nurture relationships with industry associations, corporates, and professional networks.
g. Coordinate with the Marketing team to drive delegate registrations through B2B outreach and corporate partnerships.
2. Ticketing & Attendee Management
a. Work closely with the Marketing team on pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and lead generation.
b. Manage ticketing platforms and maintain an updated attendee database.
c. Provide customer support before and during the event, handling inquiries efficiently.
d. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
e. Analyze responses to marketing campaigns and optimize strategies accordingly.
3. Digital Marketing & Promotions
a. Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, social media, paid ads, PR, and SEO.
b. Manage and optimize the event website to maximize registrations and engagement.
c. Implement targeted email marketing campaigns (newsletters, reminders, follow-ups).
d. Advise on and strategize organic and paid social media campaigns across LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
4. Event Execution & On-Site Coordination
a. Oversee event branding, signage, and marketing collateral placement.
b. Ensure a smooth registration process and attendee check-ins during the event.
5. Post-Event Marketing & Reporting
a. Conduct post-event surveys to collect feedback from attendees, sponsors, and partners.
b. Develop detailed post-event reports for internal and external stakeholders.
c. Analyze campaign performance and attendee engagement to enhance future events.
d. Maintain ongoing engagement with attendees through follow-up emails and community-building initiatives.
6. Team Leadership & Collaboration
a. Lead and mentor the sales team, setting clear KPIs and performance goals.
b. Work closely with Marketing, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure seamless event execution.
7. Reporting & Performance Analysis
a. Track and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports to the Marketing Lead and Events Director.
8. Optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and conversion rates.
9. Coordinate with the Logistics, tech and communications teams on the event to ensure smooth organization of the event.
