Position Title:

Pharmacuetical Formulation & Encapsulation Scientist

Position Overview:

This position involves in the development and optimization of pharmaceutical formulations and encapsulation systems for capsule dosage forms, functional foods, nutraceuticals, and food ingredients, with a focus on enhancing stability, performance, and delivery of sensitive components.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and develop formulations for functional foods, nutraceuticals, and food ingredients Apply encapsulation technologies to protect sensitive compounds (e.g., flavors, vitamins, probiotics, bioactives) Develop encapsulated systems for capsule filling, including powders, granules, pellets, beads, microspheres, and lipid-based fills Evaluate stability, release behavior, and performance of encapsulated ingredients under food processing and storage conditions Conduct laboratory trials, pilot studies, and data analysis Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, quality, and product development Document experimental methods, results, and technical reports in compliance with food industry standards

Qualifications/Competencies/Position Requirements:

Master's or PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field 3 to 5 years of experience in formulation and encapsulation in pharmaceutical, food or nutraceutical applications Expertise in encapsulation approaches such as emulsions,pelletization, spray drying, spray congealing, fluid-bed coating, liposomes, coacervation, and polymer-based microencapsulation Strong understanding of ingredient interactions, stability, and release mechanisms in food matrices

Ability to work in shifts. Preferably Male.

Remuneration:

As per industry. Will consider higher for deserving candidates.

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year
