Role Overview
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to support the growth of our UK-focused pharmaceutical exports. The role requires building strong connections with Indian pharma manufacturers and UK distributors, ensuring compliance with international regulations, and developing long-term business opportunities in generics, APIs, nutraceuticals, and herbal products.
Key Responsibilities
Industry & Product Knowledge
Understand India's pharma landscape (APIs, generics, vaccines, nutraceuticals).
Keep updated on UK market trends, especially NHS demand for generics and OTC products.
Networking & Business Development
Engage with Indian manufacturers (formulations, APIs, CMOs, nutraceuticals).
Build partnerships with UK importers/distributors (WDA holders).
Represent the company at trade fairs (CPHI, India Pharma Expo, UK Health Show).
Use B2B platforms (LinkedIn, IndiaMART, TradeIndia) for outreach.
Regulatory & Compliance
Understand CDSCO export licensing, WHO-GMP requirements, and CoA documentation.
Work with MHRA (UK) regulations, pharmacovigilance, and import licensing.
Support preparation of regulatory dossiers for product registration.
Export & Logistics Management
Prepare and manage export documentation (Proforma Invoice, COA, COO, Packing List, Bill of Lading).
Ensure correct INCOTERMS and contract compliance (FOB, CIF, DDP).
Coordinate cold chain logistics (for vaccines) and bulk shipping.
Market Development
Identify high-demand categories (oncology, antibiotics, antivirals, OTC supplements).
Explore opportunities in herbal and nutraceutical exports to the UK.
Develop a market entry strategy for UK buyers and distributors.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Pharmaceutical product knowledge (APIs, generics, OTC, nutraceuticals).
Export-import operations and documentation.
Regulatory affairs (India: CDSCO, UK: MHRA).
Business development & networking skills.
Supply chain & logistics knowledge.
Strong communication and presentation abilities.
