Requirements:
Responsibilities
Lead the pharmacy department for a cluster of 15 to 25 pharmacies across 3 to 5 districts.
Establish strategic goals and objectives aligned with organizational priorities.
Manage pharmacy budgets, resource allocation, and financial performance to maximise growth with sustainability.
Prepare and execute ordering, storage, and control of medications and supplies to prevent shortages or waste.
Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including medication management, clinical services, and staff performance.
Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement by implementing best practices in pharmacy operations.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and optimize pharmacotherapy protocols and ensure the safe and effective use of medications.
Drive efficiency enhancement initiatives for pharmacy staff and interprofessional teams that include assigning tasks, scheduling, performance evaluations, and providing training and mentorship.
Engage in community outreach and establish partnerships to promote medication safety and health literacy.
Skills and Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist:
Must hold a valid and current pharmacist license.
Supervisory Experience:
Prior experience of at least two years in a supervisory or managerial role in a pharma chain.
Leadership Skills:
Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to Detail:
Accuracy and precision in medication dispensing and record-keeping.
