The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of pharmaceutical operations and processes, combined with experience in selling SaaS, ERP, CRM, or other IT products/services. This role involves prospecting, lead generation, solution presentation, client relationship management, and achieving monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector for IT solutions.
Pitch and demonstrate software solutions like CRM, ERP, Supply Chain, Inventory, eDetailing, and other pharma-centric tools.
Understand client requirements and consult them on the best-fit solution from our product suite.
Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and industry events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with pharma distributors, manufacturers, stockists, and hospital administrators.
Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and close sales.
Collaborate with the pre-sales and technical teams for client onboarding and solution customization.
Maintain records of all customer interactions and pipeline updates using CRM tools.
Achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.
Provide market intelligence and feedback to the product development team.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, IT, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
2-7 years of experience in Pharma Sales, IT Sales, or SaaS Sales (preferably in healthcare/pharma domain).
Strong understanding of pharma processes like distribution, inventory, compliance (GMP, GLP), and sales force automation.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business benefits.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently or in a team.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office tools.
