Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking highly qualified, passionate, and dedicated Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) to join our team. The ideal candidates will be experts in their respective subjects (Science - Physics, Chemistry, Biology; Mathematics; English) and possess a strong commitment to delivering engaging and effective instruction to students at the senior secondary level (Grades XI and XII). PGTs are responsible for fostering a deep understanding of their subject matter, preparing students for board examinations, and nurturing their overall academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:



Instructional Excellence:



Develop and deliver comprehensive and engaging lessons in their specialized subject(s) (Science: Physics, Chemistry, Biology; Mathematics; English). Design and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. Utilize a variety of instructional techniques, including lectures, discussions, group activities, demonstrations, and technology, to enhance student learning. Prepare students thoroughly for CBSE/ICSE/State Board examinations (specify board if applicable), including conducting regular assessments, mock tests, and providing constructive feedback. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and grades. Stay current with the latest pedagogical trends, curriculum developments, and subject-specific advancements.

Curriculum Development & Assessment:



Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of the subject curriculum in alignment with educational standards and school objectives. Develop and administer a variety of assessment methods (quizzes, tests, projects, presentations) to evaluate student understanding and progress. Analyze assessment data to identify areas for improvement and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.

Student Mentorship & Support:



Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking. Provide individual support and guidance to students, addressing their academic and personal needs. Counsel students on higher education pathways and career opportunities related to their subject. Promote good study habits, time management, and independent learning skills.

Collaboration & Professionalism:



Collaborate effectively with colleagues, including other PGTs, TGTs, and administrative staff, to ensure a cohesive educational experience. Actively participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development programs. Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns. Adhere to all school policies, procedures, and professional ethics. Contribute to the overall positive culture and reputation of the school.

Qualifications:



Science PGT:

Post-graduate degree (M.Sc.) in Physics, Chemistry, or Biology from a recognized university. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Mathematics PGT:

Post-graduate degree (M.Sc. or M.A.) in Mathematics from a recognized university. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification.

English PGT:

Post-graduate degree (M.A.) in English Literature or Linguistics from a recognized university. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification. A minimum of [X] years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (Grades XI & XII) in a reputed school is preferred. Proven track record of academic success in their teaching subject. Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential. Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
