Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and passionate

Tamil Teacher

to teach students as per the

CBSE curriculum

. The candidate should be proficient in Tamil language and literature and capable of developing students' reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills while fostering cultural appreciation.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum & Teaching:

Teach Tamil language and literature as per CBSE syllabus (Primary / Middle / Secondary level as applicable). Prepare lesson plans in accordance with CBSE guidelines and academic calendar. Use innovative and student-centric teaching methodologies.

Assessment & Evaluation:

Design and conduct assessments, tests, and examinations as per CBSE norms. Evaluate students' work and provide timely feedback for improvement. Maintain academic records, progress reports, and assessment documentation.

Student Development:

Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills. Encourage participation in literary activities such as recitation, storytelling, debates, and cultural programs. Support students with varying learning abilities.

Classroom Management:

Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment. Foster respect for language, culture, and values.

Professional Responsibilities:

Participate in staff meetings, training programs, workshops, and school events. Stay updated with CBSE curriculum changes and teaching best practices. Collaborate with colleagues for academic planning and interdisciplinary activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Tamil from a recognized university. B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory for CBSE). Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school preferred. Strong knowledge of CBSE assessment patterns and learning outcomes.

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent command over Tamil language (spoken and written). Strong communication and classroom management skills. Passion for teaching and student development. Ability to use digital tools and smart classroom resources.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
