We are seeking a passionate and experienced

PGT Psychology Teacher

to join our senior secondary school in Bhubaneswar. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of psychology as a subject and the ability to engage with students effectively at the higher secondary level.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Psychology to students of classes XI and XII as per the prescribed curriculum (CBSE/ISC). Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and student assessments in alignment with academic goals. Foster critical thinking and interactive learning in the classroom. Conduct psychological assessments, counseling sessions, and student wellness workshops when required. Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and projects. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of teaching methodologies and subject advancements. Build strong rapport with students and support their academic and emotional growth. Collaborate with school staff and participate in departmental meetings and school events.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Psychology (preferred) or allied discipline. B.Ed. degree is mandatory. 2-5 years of experience teaching Psychology at the senior secondary level. Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of adolescent psychology and learning needs. Female candidates preferred.
