Job Description

A PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) in Psychology plays a vital role in schools, focusing on teaching psychology to students in classes XI and XII. Key responsibilities include: 1. Teaching Psychology: Delivering engaging lessons on psychological concepts, theories, and applications, ensuring students grasp complex topics effectively. 2. Curriculum Development: Designing and implementing curriculum plans, lesson plans, and assessments that align with educational standards and board requirements. 3. Assessment and Evaluation: Conducting exams, quizzes, and assignments to evaluate students' understanding and progress in psychology. 4. Guidance and Counseling: Providing guidance to students on psychological well-being, study skills, and personal development, helping them navigate academic and personal challenges. 5. Promoting Mental Health Awareness: Raising awareness about mental health issues, stress management, and coping strategies among students. 6. Research and Projects: Guiding students in conducting research projects, case studies, and practical applications of psychological concepts. 7. Classroom Management: Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment, managing classroom activities, and encouraging student participation. 8.
